I reconnected with Yolanda last week,  dare I say, after over 30 years! She was just as stunning, friendly and humble as the first day that I met her.

Here’s the back-story:

I pretty much grew up at Ann Taylor’s; started working there as a high school student and stayed through Boston College. At that time Ann Taylor’s was a family owned group of 5 stores in which the founders were commonly present. Richard Liebeskind was growing a business based on integrity and hard work. Joan Helpern was building a shoe empire, Joan & David shoes, based on the same principals and leasing the department within Ann Taylor.
